I had a great experience using this service during my trip to Japan. The pocket Wi-Fi worked perfectly the entire time and the connection was stable on all the devices we used. I traveled through several places including Shirakawa-go, Takayama, Sapporo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo, and the internet worked reliably everywhere. It made navigating, checking maps, and staying connected extremely easy throughout the trip. The whole process was also very convenient. The device arrived without any issues and the return was simple since the envelope was already prepared. I’m very happy with the service and would definitely use it again on my next trip to Japan. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the country. I also recommend it for anyone who needs to keep several devices connected at the same time. The battery lasts almost the whole day, which is great, i didn't use the power bank. The device is pocket-sized and very lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around all day.
I've used Sakura mobile SIM card…
I've used Sakura mobile SIM card service twice thus far. It worked smoothly without any problems even on my old 2021 Motorola Stylus G. SIM card goes in, turn your phone on, and it connects to a local carrier. Whereas with their competitor, Ninxx WiFi, I had nothing but problem. It never connected. I'll continue to use Sakura mobile for my future trips to Japan for certain.

I've been renting a wi-fi box for my 12 days stay in Japan. It couldnt have been a better experience. Its easy to use, you get internet coverage every where you would expect and you get a pre-paid envelope so you just mail everything back from any mail box. I was in contact with customer service before I travelled due to an error I had made and the issue was resolved and I got a refund with in 2 days. I am very happy with both the service they offer and the customer service. I will 100% use Sakuramobile again if I return to Japan.
