Data for the whole trip or per day?
10 GB total is one allowance for the package. 1 GB/day is a daily allowance. Check the reset rules and what happens after the allowance: slower data, extra charges or no connection.
When does validity start?
Installation and activation can be separate steps. Check whether the clock starts at purchase, installation or first connection. Choose enough valid days for your stay.
Where can you connect?
Check every country on your route and the networks listed for the exact package. A country in the coverage list does not guarantee a signal everywhere.
Will it work for your setup?
Check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. If you need laptop data, verify hotspot permission. Confirm any calls, texts or phone number separately.

Choosing an eSIM for Ukraine
Start with the days you need connectivity and the countries on your route. A Ukraine package and a global package can both appear in this list; their coverage and expiry are different.
Match your package to your stay
A 7-day visit and a two-week stay need different validity filters. For a 14-day stay, our regular-use planning example starts at 10 GB; this is an estimate, not a measurement of your phone. Compare at least 14 days of validity, then check when the provider starts that clock.
Crossing a border changes the comparison
Do not assume a plan labelled Europe includes Ukraine. Open the coverage details and check Ukraine plus every other country on your route. Saily currently lists Ukraine in its global offering; its Ukraine-only packages have their own coverage and allowance.
Activation and laptop use
Saily’s Ukraine page describes automatic activation on arrival when the eSIM and data roaming are enabled, and allows hotspot use. Other providers can have different rules. If you will work on a laptop, include backups, calls and downloads in your data estimate; a hotspot permission does not increase your allowance.
Coverage is a condition to check
Ask the provider which local networks your specific package can use and whether it covers the locations you need. A country appearing in a coverage list does not guarantee an available signal at every address. Download essential information over Wi-Fi and keep an alternative way to connect.
