Plan the data for your length of stay
For one week, our regular-use calculator example suggests a 5 GB whole-trip allowance. For fourteen days it suggests 10 GB. These figures include a planning buffer and are not measured usage. Video, cloud backups or laptop work can require a different allowance.
Bali, Lombok and other stops need a coverage check
List your accommodation areas and any other islands before buying. Ask which Indonesian network the exact package can use and check the locations you need. A country-level coverage list does not establish signal quality at a villa, on a boat or along a rural route. Save essential maps and booking details offline.
Daily data is different from a whole-trip allowance
A daily quota resets according to the package’s rules; a total allowance is shared across the valid period. For an unlimited offer, inspect the full-speed limit, reduced speed and reset time. Compare two packages on the same basis rather than treating every gigabyte figure as equivalent.
If you continue to Singapore or Malaysia
Compare separate country packages with one regional package that explicitly includes all stops. Confirm when validity starts, whether a stopover can trigger it, and whether hotspot use is permitted if you need it. An Indonesia-only package does not establish coverage for another country.

Will an Indonesia eSIM work at my Bali villa or in Lombok?
A country coverage entry alone does not establish reception at an address, on a boat or on another island. Check the exact package’s Indonesian networks and the locations of your accommodation and planned stops. Keep essential reservations offline. If you need laptop access, confirm hotspot permission and have another connection available for important calls.
Does my Indonesia eSIM cover a stopover in Singapore?
Do not infer Singapore coverage from an Indonesia entry. Check both destinations in the exact regional package or compare separate plans. Read whether first connection during the stopover starts the validity clock. Compare daily and whole-trip allowances separately, and check reduced speeds and expiry before choosing an unlimited package.
